1. Pertaining to, or caused by, ecstasy or excessive emotion;
of the nature, or in a state, of ecstasy; as, ecstatic
gaze; ecstatic trance.

2. Delightful beyond measure; rapturous; ravishing; as,
ecstatic bliss or joy.
