Definitions of DRAPEAU
Sort: Oldest first
Vexillum, from drap, 'cloth.' A bandage, used in wounds, &c., of the nose, to keep the dressings in situ. It is composed of a small triangular compress, having two openings at its inferior part, corresponding to those of the nostrils. It is fixed by means of a bandage, passing from its superior angle over the head, and another passing round the head, under the orbits, so as to join the first at the nape of the neck. Also, Pterygion.
