from 'a bladder,' and 'a tail.' A genus of entozoa of the family of the hydatids, distinguished by the caudal vesicle in which the cylindrical or slightly depressed body of the animal terminates. The Cysticercus cellulosae, (F.) Cysticerque du Tissu cellulaire, Hydatis finna, has been often found in the cellular membrane.
