(CODASYL) A consortium that developed database models andstandard database extensions for COBOL.CODASYL was formed in 1959 to guide the development of astandard programming language that could be used on manycomputers. Members came from industry and government dataprocessing departments. Its goal was to promote more effectivedata systems analysis, design and implementation. It publishedspecifications for various languages over the years, handing theseover to official standards bodies (ISO, ANSI or theirpredecessors) for formal standardisation. The 1965 List Processing Task Force worked on the IDS/I databaseextension. It later renamed itself to the Data Base Task Group(DBTG) and publishing the Codasyl Data Model, the first to allowone-to-many relations. This work also introduced datadefinition languages (DDLs) to define the database schema and adata manipulation language (DML) to be embedded in COBOLprograms to request and update data in the database.Interest in CODASYL declined with the rise of relationaldatabases beginning in the early 1980s.

Procollagen Proline Dioxygenase
- mixed-function oxygenase that catalyzes hydroxylation prolyl-glycyl-containing-peptide, usually in protocollagen, hydroxyprolylglycyl-peptide. The enzyme utilizes molecular oxygen with a concomitant oxidative decarboxylation of 2-oxoglutarate to succinate. EC 1.14.11.2.
