A French versifier; born at Chalons-sur-Saone, about 1530; died there, 1579. He wrote: "Lamentable Harangues on the Death of Divers Animals"; "Love's Smiles and Tears" (1576); "The Idea and Other Works" (1579), "The Idea" being a lady to whom he paid a hopeless suit.
