The pharynx:' belonging to the head and pharynx. Winslow has given this name to the portion of the constrictor pharyngis superior, which is attached, above, to the inferior surface of the basilary process of the os occipitis. The Ceph'alo-pharynge'al Aponeuro'sis is a thin, fibrous membrane, which is attached to the basilary process, and gives insertion to the fibres of the constrictor superior pharyngis.
