A colorless, oily liquid, C10H16H2O = C10H18O, forming the chief part of oil of cajeput, and also found in the oils of Melaleuca hypericifolia, Melaleuca linarifolia, and Eucalyptus oleosa. It is identical with cineol and eucalytol.
