Balaruc is a town in the department of Herault, in France. The waters are saline and thermal. They contain carbonic acid, carbonate of lime, carbonate of magnesia, chlorides of sodium, calcium, and magnesium, sulphate of lime, and a little iron. They are considered tonic, and are largely used. Their temperature is about 118 Fahrenheit.
