Among his writings are: "A Service of Love" (1840); "The Pastry-Cook of Danaustadt" (1842); "Results of a Fault" (1842); "Jeanne de Naples" (1842); "A Daughter of the Legion of Honor" (1843); "December 10" (1849); "Marguerite" (1851); "A Maiden's Heart" (1854); "Doctor Momus" (1857); and "The Art of Managing Women" (1859).
